As proud parents to two wonderful children, Nikki and Bobby, who are currently attending boarding school in Charters Towers we know the importance of family and community.
Our family roots run deep in this beautiful region, with Willi born in Cairns and raised in Georgetown (Kutchera and Mt Turner Stations) where he completed his primary education before heading to boarding school in Charters Towers – just like our kids.
Kristy was born and bred in Charters Towers, a graduate of Columba Catholic College, before making Georgetown her home at the age of 20. In 2012, we purchased Jenkins Creek Station, a property of approximately 16,000 acres located in the Northern Goldfields, Forsayth.
Over the years, we have focused on building a quality herd of around 1200 head, predominately featuring grey Brahmans, with a few special additions along the way. We also lease two additional properties in the Etheridge Shire to support our growing operation.
We are excited to share our passion for beef with you as we launch – Bethel’s Farm Fresh Beef!
Bathel’s commitment to quality is unwavering, and we are constantly seeking to improve our herd by purchasing high quality bulls. Additionally, we breed and sell a selection of paddock bulls at our local Forsayth Bull Sale and offer a few private sales. At Jenkins Creek, we value transparency and community, and we love knowing that when you choose our beef, you’re supporting a local grazing family who is MSA (Meat Standard Australian) accredited.
Our cattle are exceptional – quiet and easy to handle, which makes mustering a breeze. Most days, it’s just the four of us along with our working dogs getting the job done. We invite you to enjoy the fruits of our labour and savour the quality and flavour of our grass- fed, hormone free, grass-finished
beef.
